My Turning Point

Everyone has a story about their own life. Ups and downs, through thick and thin and from happiness to sorrow. Thus, these experiences help all of us to become a better person. They say without “smile and frown” life will be boring. It is because these two can only measure our ability to stand still.
As a person with little length in this world, I had experience a lot of things. First, when I was one year old, my parents separated. I know that this was unfamiliar with my age. But not so long they decided to reconcile. As I grow up my life becomes colorful. My father work abroad, my mother had her store. I studied my kindergarten and got the title for being first honor. At my young age, I learned and love the word “responsibility”.
I entered into the world of grade school. At first, it was hard because I used to go to school half day. But as days passed, I was used to it. I can easily adjust myself with my mother around. I can mingle with others and learn the teachings and doings of my teachers. Thus, these help me achieved my first honor in grade school. Years had passed; luckily I always got the first spot.
When I am in my last year of grade school, I dream of being the valedictorian and study in Cavite National Science High School, which some people call “school for nerds and gays”. I worked hard to achieve them. I did my best because that’s my wildest dream. I know that CNSHS will surely help me enhance more my abilities, and gain more knowledge.
Fortunately, I passed, so now I’m here enhancing and maintaining my knowledge and values.  To dream more ahead. It is because I believe that my recent-studying-school will really help me a lot to achieve my goals in life. For in this school, academics are more prioritized than the others. We can compete from other private or even well-known schools. That’s why I study more than ever, not to be thrown away but to gain and achieve much.
One’s destiny is hard to tell. Only that person can make his/her own path. It’s her choice if what she/he thinks well for him, but without God’s guidance, nothing’s gain. So seek for Almighty God’s parenting always.
